Service Description

Advanced Electrolysis Treatments Advanced Electrolysis is a safe, highly effective treatment used to remove or reduce a wide variety of common benign skin lesions. By delivering a precise electrical current through a fine probe, the treatment gently cauterises or coagulates targeted tissue without affecting the surrounding skin. This makes it a trusted choice for managing unwanted skin irregularities in a controlled, clinical setting. Conditions Treated 🔹 Thread Veins (Telangiectasia) Small, visible capillaries close to the skin’s surface are sealed using electrolysis. The current causes the blood within the vessel to coagulate, allowing the body to naturally reabsorb the treated vein. This results in clearer skin and reduced redness. 🔹 Milia Milia are small, white, keratin-filled cysts commonly found around the eyes and cheeks. Electrolysis precisely breaks down the trapped keratin, allowing the skin to heal and clear naturally. 🔹 Skin Tags These soft, benign growths are quickly and safely removed by cauterising the base with electrolysis. The tag dries, darkens, and naturally sheds over several days. 🔹 Warts & Verrucae Electrolysis cauterises the blood supply feeding the wart, leading to gradual destruction of the affected tissue. This is a precise and effective method for stubborn or resistant warts. 🔹 Blood Spots (Cherry Angiomas) These are small, bright red vascular lesions often found on the body. Electrolysis seals off the blood vessels that feed the angioma, causing it to fade or disappear after treatment. Benefits ✔ Targeted treatment with medical-grade precision ✔ Minimally invasive, safe, and quick ✔ Suitable for a wide range of benign skin lesions ✔ Little to no downtime – most clients return to normal activity the same day ✔ Long-lasting results with reduced risk of recurrence Safety & Suitability Only benign (non-cancerous) lesions can be treated with advanced electrolysis. A full consultation and skin assessment will be carried out before treatment. Any suspicious or atypical lesions will be referred for medical investigation. Aftercare Expect mild redness or a small scab at the treatment site, which heals in 7–10 days. Keep the area clean and avoid touching, scratching, or applying makeup until healed. Protect the area from direct sun exposure during the healing period. Follow the tailored aftercare advice provided by your practitioner.
